There can be several reasons that a tire pressure light can come on. The most obvious would be that it is low on air, this could be because it has a leak or just from outside temperature change. If your car calls for say 32 psi in the tires, with a sharp drop in temperature on a cold day it can cause the tire pressure to drop down to 28psi-29psi which will cause the tire pressure light to come on. It could also have a nail or screw in tread causing it to leak. Typically the light will be solid but if it is blinking, this could mean that one of your tire pressure sensors could be bad. Sometimes a tire can be repaired, if you see this light on your dash, stop by one of our locations to have it checked.
